Through the support of professionals in the field of forensic psychology and criminal justice, licensed social workers, interns, and volunteers, the organization provides essential services aimed at reducing recidivism. We provide case management, emotional, psychological, and community support, guiding individuals toward a future where they can thrive not just survive.
Applying for Benefits
Assists clients in applying for and maintaining essential benefits, such as food stamps, general assistance (GA), Medicaid, or Social Security benefits, which are critical for meeting their basic needs and improving overall well-being.
Housing Search & Shelter Assistance
We offer support in finding temporary or permanent housing solutions.
Obtaining Vital Documents
We assist individuals in obtaining necessary documents, such as birth certificates, Social Security cards, and state IDs.
Referrals to Other Agencies
We facilitate referrals to shelters, mental health organizations, substance use programs DVR, etc.
Justice-Involvement Support
We conduct intakes at the Bergen County Jail, and work closely with probation, parole, and public defender’s office.
Mail Services
Clients without stable housing can utilize our office as a mailing address which allows them to maintain benefits from the county and receive vital paperwork.
Food, Clothing, and Household Items
We distribute essential goods like clothing, food, and basic household items to help clients meet their needs.
Resume Writing & Job Search
We assist clients with crafting professional resumes, developing interview skills, searching for job opportunities, and providing professional clothing.
Transportation Support
We distribute bus passes to help clients attend job interviews, appointments, court appearances, or other important obligations. We also refer clients to other transportation services, if they qualify.
